I found myself in a dark room with only one light on, which held the one thing that frightened me the most

A cat

Not just any cat

This feline didn't have any skin, just wet, red muscle and white, bare bone. It was horrifying to say the least.

I approached it and its eyes regarded me. Then. IT spoke...or should I say cackled.

For some stupid reason, I picked the cat up, and it let out one last phrase, "wake up."

Dude. My fucking eyes snapped open as if it commanded me to wake up.

And now I kinda prefer dogs over cats more than anything else.
