Scary Days

Quite Literally

Today my school had a walkout. If anyone's wondering, YES, some people did actually walk out of class. Of course I didn't participate since "Every 15 Minutes" was today, which is a tribute to those that lost their lives to drunk driving (DUI) . It would've been insensitive to participate in the walk-out. (If you're curious, feel free to look up Every 15 Minutes.)

Back to my main point: The walk-out.
This caused a bit of a ruckus.
Apparently, some sophomore decided to threaten the school with a gun. Luckily, administration was able to stop him before he actually got on campus.

No one told us. They just sent out an email, which is understandable since they didn't want to cause a huge uproar. I was able to find out what was going on because I was friends with my teacher's daughter (and most of the school's leadership)

This was our first ever threat that we've got here...and it was terrifying.

I just thought I'd tell whoever's reading this. I'm just being honest, anything could happen outside of Deviantart, and I'm relieved today had a happy ending instead of a repeat of what happened a month ago in Parkland.
